Band from Porto Alegre - Brazil, with influences from many subgenres of Metal.
Assembled in 2020, but the recordings were postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Formed by musician / composer who used to work as a crew member on shows, festivals, tours and production companies.
Unable to work on stages during the current scenario, he focused on rearranging and recording songs that had been written since the 90s. To do so, he recruited a team of musicians to form Groo. No, it is not a selfish solo project.
Lineup:
Singer in activity since 1995, with a long road in the Heavy Metal scene, he passed through several bands. Frequently invited as guest singer in tribute bands shows.
Also singing in Hell's Keeper (Helloween tribute) and
Metalverse (acoustic versions of Heavy Metal classics), formerly in the bands Magician, Tierramystica, Scelerata and Soulspell.
CROW - Lead guitar
Professional musician and teacher, graduated in Music Degree by Faculdade Metodista IPA.
Endorser of russian guitar company Kononykheen.
Also acts in a solo career focused on instrumental music, his second single is being produced by Renato Osório (Ex Hibria), and plays on Wishmoon (Nightwish tribute). Formerly was member of the bands Insurgent and Spleenful.
GROO - Bass / Vocals / Guitar
Stage manager and roadie with two decades of experience.
Has been a sideman in gigs of bands with several music genres, from Reggae to Death Metal.
He recruited a team of musicians to form Groo - the band - to record songs that he has been working on since the 90s.
Former member of Panic, Gladiator, Vômitos & Náuseas, It's All Red, Spirit Forge, Asper, Lápide and Undercover (tribute to Rock and Metal classics).
PAEDO - Drums
Has been a roadie for 8 years, working with bands from all over the world. Invited to be part of the band, brought all his personality and signature influences on drum lines.
He recorded for the bands Rock de Santana and Mr. Tien and will soon record for Rafael Crow and Felipe Oliveira solo projects.
Also, currently plays with bands Red Feet, Dark Valley, Liberty, Skunkworks (Bruce Dickinson tribute), Made of Stone (Avenged Sevenfold / Stone Sour / Disturbed tribute) and formerly with Inkógnita, The Youth, Funeral Elétrico (Black Sabbath tribute), Bleach (Nirvana tribute).
